Midlane matchups set the tone
BB Team struck first in the Grand Final, putting their trust in star mid laner Danil "gpk" Skutin. Known for his dominant laning phase, gpk neutralized PVISION’s Ember Spirit with a Slardar counter pick, setting the tone for a series where even the smallest advantage could quickly become insurmountable. Game 1 showed exactly why BB Team was such a difficult opponent: give them an opening, and they will capitalize.
PVISION answered with a bold approach in Game 2, selecting Invoker early for Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko. The draft initially looked unconventional, but No[o]ne- made an immediate impact with a series of Sun Strike kills as the game remained close, with BB Team holding a slight advantage.
Then, after the 35-minute mark, PVISION’s strategy began to come together. A massive Centaur Warrunner, boosted beyond 7,000 health and carrying a Lifestealer inside, became nearly impossible for BB Team to contain. Even a Drow Ranger with over 40,000 net worth could not stop PVISION’s late-game push.
Closing out the game was another challenge entirely. It took 62 minutes and nearly 13,000 building damage from Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov before PVISION finally secured the win, tying the series 1-1.
No[o]ne- takes charge
With the series tied, PVISION once again placed their trust in Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko, this time giving him Puck. The matchup was expected to favor BB Team’s gpk on Earth Spirit, but No[o]ne- quickly flipped the script. After winning four consecutive 50-50 power rune battles, Puck’s early mobility became impossible for BB Team to contain.
Even Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov on his signature Kez could not slow down PVISION’s momentum, as Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov’s late-game Tiny became a devastating force that pushed PVISION to match point.
In the fourth and final game, Satanic returned to Lifestealer, but this time PVISION did not need to wait for the late game. The carry dominated from the opening minutes, delivering a statement performance to close out the series and secure the Dota 2 at EWC 2026 championship.
PVISION’s Prolific Pro Team
For PVISION, the championship marked another milestone in the career of Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko, whose nearly 12-year professional Dota 2 career reached a new peak. Asked what has kept him competing at the highest level for so long, No[o]ne- credited the teammates around him.
“I have Edgar, Andrey, Noticed, and Satanic [on my] team and Puppey [as my] coach," he said.
One of the youngest players at Dota 2 at EWC 2026, Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov also reflected on his championship-clinching performance, saying he approached the final game like a regular pub match.
Team captain Andrey "Dukalis" Kuropatkin also celebrated teammate Edgar "9Class" Naltakian, wishing the support player a happy birthday during their Paris victory. However, it was Evgeniy "Noticed" Ignatenko who earned MVP honors for the Grand Final. The offlaner was tasked with shutting down BB Team’s star carry Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov and successfully limited his impact across three straight games.
Championship points secured
PVISION is not participating in the Club Championship at EWC 26. The club’s Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 results will not be included in the Club Championship standings.
BB Team faces a similar situation after earning 750 points with its runner-up finish. With only Counter-Strike 2 remaining on its schedule, the club has limited opportunities to add to its total.
