EWC 2026 Week 7 Champions Recap

Aug 23, 2026.

Week 7 of the Esports World Cup 2026 saw the crowning of four new champions, in Fortnite, Crossfire, Trackmania, and Counter-Strike 2. The final week of the tournament also decided the Club Championship, where a new club was crowned for the first time in EWC history. Here’s a look back at every champion from EWC 26 Week 7.

Counter-Strike 2 at EWC 26

Get Donked

Team Spirit secured a commanding 3-1 victory over FUT Esports in the Grand Final of CS2 at EWC 26. They got off to a slow start, dropping Map 1 and struggling to contain FUT’s aggressive approach. However, Spirit found their footing on Map 2, with Danil “donk” Kyrshkovets taking control and dictating the pace of the series, lifting the trophy after four maps.

Fortnite Reload Championship at EWC 26

BIG Makes History

BIG raised the inaugural Fortnite Reload Championship trophy at EWC 26 after taking down 19 other teams in the Grand Finals. BIG spent much of the series behind Aurora Gaming, their biggest rivals to the title, not reaching Match Point eligibility until game 11. The series went all the way to Game 13, where an eight-kill performance and a Victory Royale secured their trophy and $250,000 in prize money. This victory also makes them the first team in Fortnite history to win major LAN events back-to-back, as the duo won the FNCS 2026 Major 1 Summit earlier this year.

CROSSFIRE

BaiSha Gaming Gets Their Runback

After being denied the EWC Championship win in 2025 against their regional rivals AG.AL, BaiSha Gaming fought relentlessly to claim their rightful title. Toppling other top contenders such as KINGZONE-eSports en route to the Finals, BaiSha Gaming were relentless competitors during this series. With Wang “N9” Hao leading his team as the top fragger, BaiSha swept through Team Liquid in the Grand Finals to finally capture their first EWC win.

Trackmania

Gwen puts AG.AL on top

AG.AL’s Gwendal “Gwen” Duparc showcased a masterclass performance in the Grand Final to become the inaugural Trackmania champion at EWC 26. His road to the top showcased his resilience in keeping pace with the World’s elite, as he narrowly clutched his way into the top eight. Surviving a tense semifinal comeback, Gwen found his momentum to continue advancing towards the Finals. The Frenchman was ultimately able to secure the win in front of his home crowd, earning not only $130,000 in personal prize money, but also deciding the Club Championship in the process.

Club Championship

AG.AL win it all

Speaking of the Club Championship, prior to Trackmania, Team Falcons was poised to take the three-peat victory in the competition. A top finish for the multi-time Trackmania World champion Carl-Antoni “Carl Jr.” Cloutier, who races under the Team Falcons banner, would have been critical for the club. However, an early exit from Carl Jr. in a stacked Quarterfinals lobby followed by a championship win for AG.AL denied Team Falcons from their three-peat, as AG.AL writes a new chapter into the EWC history books.
