EWC26 Club Championship Specific Rules for EA SPORTS FC 26
EWC26’s rules for the Club Championship were adapted to the specific setup of the EA SPORTS FC Pro ecosystem. The regulations mentioned below are only relevant for the Club Championship system, in all other aspects the EA SPORTS FC Pro Official Rules rules are applicable.
For players that directly qualified for the FC Pro World Championship or qualified for Play-Ins through FC Pro League competitions:
- As defined by the EA SPORTS FC Pro Official Rules (3.2), players are required to represent the organization they have qualified for in the FC Pro World Championship or the Play-Ins.
- If a player was contracted before their qualification or invitation and before the official Club Championship Roster Submission Deadline on 30th April by an additional esports organization, the organization they qualified for and the additional organization may come to an agreement that this player represents both organizations at the EWC26 (“Collaboration”).
- In case of a Collaboration, the organizations need to share by the official Club Championship Roster Submission Deadline a clear name involving both brands (i.e. “Dragons.FC Harbor City” or “FC Harbor City Dragons”). The organization also needs to provide an aligned statement on which organizations would receive the Club Championship points for EWC26. All statements have to be made jointly, and with clear confirmation from both entities. The Collaboration is subject to approval by tournament administration and at the full discretion of the EWC26 tournament administration.
For players that directly qualified for the FC Pro World Championship through the FC Pro Open:
- If the player was traded to another organization before their qualification or invitation and before the official Club Championship Roster Submission Deadline on 30th April they qualify for the organization they were traded to and are able to earn Club Championship points. Any trades made after that are not eligible for Club Championship points.
For players that qualified for the Play-Ins through FC Pro Open or are looking to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier:
- Trades for such players that are made before their qualification or invitation and before the official Club Championship Roster Submission Deadline on 30th April allow the player to earn Club Championship points for the receiving Club. Any trade made after that makes the player ineligible to earn Club Championship points for the receiving Club.
*In the event of any differences in these rules across languages, the English version shall prevail
