Esports World Cup Foundation Launches Heroes Club – A Year-Long VIP Programme for EWC Champions

Jul 03, 2025.

The Programme, “Beyond Victory”, Empowers EWC Champions With Exclusive Access, Visibility, and Opportunities Beyond Competition

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (July 02, 2025) – The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) today announced the launch of the Heroes Club, a year-long VIP programme exclusively for winners of Esports World Cup (EWC) game tournaments. Created to recognize top performance and support players beyond the competition, the Heroes Club turns a single tournament win into extended access, visibility, and opportunity - connecting EWC Champions with a global circle of celebrities, VIPs, and industry leaders while enhancing their lifestyle off the stage.

Introduced alongside the record-breaking $70+ million prize pool for EWC 2025, the initiative supports the Foundation’s mission to create meaningful opportunities and sustainable career paths for players and esports Clubs, reflecting EWCF’s continued investment in building a stronger, more inclusive esports ecosystem.

Designed around the needs of elite players, the programme includes a personalised membership card, concierge support, and a private digital platform where exclusive experiences and opportunities are shared. Members also receive premium hospitality at global sports and entertainment events - such as the Super Bowl, Formula 1 and UEFA Champions League Finals - exclusive travel benefits from partnered brands and early access to new games. Each player who wins an EWC game competition in 2025 will receive one year of Heroes Club membership, valid until the conclusion of the next EWC tournament in that game.

“The launch of the Heroes Club is another important step in our long-term commitment to building a sustainable future for esports,” said Faisal Bin Homran, Chief Product Officer, Esports World Cup Foundation. “Just as the largest prize pool in esports history rewards excellence, the Heroes Club recognises what follows. It’s about going beyond victory – giving EWC champions the tools to grow their profiles, unlocking a new world full of opportunities and extending their impact beyond the main stage. By investing in players at every stage of their journey, we are reinforcing the role of esports as a global sport and a viable career path for generations to come.”

The programme builds on the legacy of the 2024 Esports World Cup, where over 80 players earned Heroes Club status through winning performances in Riyadh. In total, 2,270 professional players from 452 teams competed across 21 games. Earlier this year, select 2024 champions were invited to attend the Super Bowl, Call of Duty Ultra Major I and the UEFA Champions League Final – offering a preview of the calibre of experiences the Heroes Club will continue to deliver.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will once again unite gaming and esports communities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a global competition that will crown the next Esports World Cup Champion. The tournament’s unique cross-game format will reward Clubs and players competing for a life-changing prize pool across a mix of platforms and genres, bringing together esports’ best teams, players and games under one banner in the largest-ever celebration of esports.

The EWC 2025 will feature over 2,000 elite players and 200 Clubs from more than 100 countries, competing in 25 tournaments across 24 games for a record-breaking $70+ million prize pool. Tickets, including access to the Opening Ceremony, are now available at esportsworldcup.com.
