Flancy was named the SONY Finals MVP for his clutch performances throughout the series. Long known as the community's “Uncrowned King,” the victory marked his first S-Tier championship. Despite the accolade, Flancy was quick to credit his teammates after the match.
"I'd like to believe that every one of my teammates deserves to be honored MVP, especially because I didn't improve as much as I wanted to this year," Flancy said. "I was able to pull through because of my teammates."
Championship Points Secured
With the historic victory, Team Vision earned 1,000 Club Championship points to move into a tie for first place alongside Natus Vincere. The club officially qualified for the Club Championship with this victory, adding to its runner-up finish in ALGS at EWC 26. Team Vision, however, is only competing in these two tournaments, meaning the club has no remaining opportunities to earn Club Championship points. Their current position in the standings is the highest they can reach.
Runner-up Aurora Gaming collected 750 Club Championship points and now sits sixth overall with 950 points. The club remains firmly in the title race, with opportunities to add to its total in Arena of Valor, PUBG Mobile, and Counter-Strike 2 later this summer.
