TFT at EWC 26 Winners: Clean Sweep for Team Vision

Jul 25, 2026.

The Grand Finals of Teamfight Tactics at Esports World Cup 2026 saw the old guard dethroned as Team Vision swept Aurora Gaming 3-0 to claim the trophy. With the victory, Team Vision takes home $150,000 in prize money and 1,000 Club Championship points. Congratulations to Team Vision on becoming the Teamfight Tactics winners at EWC 26.

Both Team Vision and Aurora Gaming reached the Grand Finals after knocking out last year's finalists, Virtus.pro and Weibo Gaming, in the quarterfinals. With momentum on both sides, it was Team Vision that ultimately rose above the competition, completing a dominant run to the top of the podium.

A shutout on the global stage

Team Vision's 3-0 sweep over Aurora Gaming marked another milestone at EWC 26, making them the first team to win an Esports World Cup Teamfight Tactics Grand Final without dropping a game. Team captain Yan “Flancy” Lingyu set the tone in Game 1, clutching out the victory after assembling a powerful Level 10 board. Aurora Gaming's Ge “Huanmie” Wuxin attempted to funnel resources to a teammate for the decisive fight, but both Aurora players ultimately fell to Flancy's board.

Games 2 and 3 showcased the coordinated teamwork unique to Teamfight Tactics' 4v4 format. Team Vision's “MoGG” and Chen “Koyui” Cheng aggressively held key units to deny Aurora Gaming their ideal compositions while controlling the tempo through the mid game. The strategy paid off as Aurora's bottom two players finished seventh and eighth in Game 2, giving Team Vision match point. Aurora threatened to extend the series in Game 3, but Team Vision's disciplined play proved too much, completing the sweep and securing the trophy.

Flancy was named the SONY Finals MVP for his clutch performances throughout the series. Long known as the community's “Uncrowned King,” the victory marked his first S-Tier championship. Despite the accolade, Flancy was quick to credit his teammates after the match.

"I'd like to believe that every one of my teammates deserves to be honored MVP, especially because I didn't improve as much as I wanted to this year," Flancy said. "I was able to pull through because of my teammates."

Championship Points Secured

With the historic victory, Team Vision earned 1,000 Club Championship points to move into a tie for first place alongside Natus Vincere. The club officially qualified for the Club Championship with this victory, adding to its runner-up finish in ALGS at EWC 26. Team Vision, however, is only competing in these two tournaments, meaning the club has no remaining opportunities to earn Club Championship points. Their current position in the standings is the highest they can reach.

Runner-up Aurora Gaming collected 750 Club Championship points and now sits sixth overall with 950 points. The club remains firmly in the title race, with opportunities to add to its total in Arena of Valor, PUBG Mobile, and Counter-Strike 2 later this summer.
