Rennsport at EWC 25 Champions: Team Redline finishes first
Jul 12, 2025.
Members of Team Redline have lifted the first championship trophy at the Esports World Cup 2025, giving the four-person sim racing squad back-to-back wins after also claiming the 2024 championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Congratulations to Team Redline and everyone in the organization on becoming the first-ever EWC 25 champions.

We may just be days into the event, but the 2025 Esports World Cup has already crowned its first champion – and it’s a familiar name to sim racing fans. Team Redline claimed the pole position in Rennsport at EWC 25 on July 11th, making history as the first organization to win back-to-back EWC titles in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On a day of firsts — the opening day of EWC 2025’s inaugural Champion’s Weekend — Team Redline became not only the first champions of the 2025 Esports World Cup, but also the first-ever back-to-back EWC champions and the first MVP award winners of the 2025 event.
"I mean, amazing," Team Redline player Sebastian Job said when asked how he felt following the win. "A lot of relief. I've been saying that to the guys. We had a big target on our back after being last year's champions. Everyone wanted to beat us.

Team Redline, who also celebrated victory in 2024, returned with the same lineup and achieved identical success. Asserting their dominance over an intense week of competition, the team breezed through the group stage, crushed opponents in the upper bracket, and secured victory in the finals.
With a veteran lineup including Kevin Siggy and Sebastian Job, Team Redline was dominant throughout the week, fending off challenges from Porsche Coanda, Virtus.pro, and Team Vitality.
Team Redline is regarded as one of the premier forces in the sim racing community. The organization has over 20 years of experience and a roster of real and virtual racing champions, including Max Verstappen and Enzo Bonito. The Netherlands-based group has added yet another accolade to its growing list of achievements.
SONY MVP
While the returning Redline champions all played their part, the standout performer was none other than Luke Bennett, who earned MVP honors thanks to his four podium finishes in the finals. The Brit also recorded three podium finishes in the upper bracket. Bennett becomes EWC 2025’s first MVP prize recipient, taking home $10,000 for himself in addition to his share of the $200,000 winner’s prize for Team Redline.

Elsewhere At EWC 2025
This back-to-back victory sets the stage for a week filled with returning champions. With ALGS Midseason Playoffs at EWC 2025 and Fatal Fury: COTW at EWC 25 still to crown their winners over this champion’s weekend, there’s potential for Team Redline to be just the first of several multi-time winners at EWC 2025.
