Fighting through the group stage
Placed in Group C, Twisted Minds secured their spot in the final with a steady, if unspectacular, showing during the qualification stage. They scored 47 points against the teams in Group A, followed by another 45 points against Group B.
These two decent performances kept them well above the qualification cutoff. While they were never in serious danger of missing out, they weren’t among the top performers heading into the final.

A final lost in the storm
The Eastern European squad rose to the occasion on the second day of the final, finishing as the only team to secure two chicken dinners across the six matches. The second win, in the penultimate game, was especially crucial as it gave the four-man group some breathing room going into the final match. Up until that point, the leaderboard had been fiercely contested, with four different teams taking wins before Twisted Minds managed to create a gap after their second chicken dinner.
That lead proved to be absolutely necessary in the final match, as they faced early adversity when two of their players were eliminated in the opening minutes. With their advantage slipping and pressure mounting, Dmytrii "Perfect1ks" Dubenyuk and Artem "xmpl" Adarkin held their nerve while regrouping far out in the storm. They managed to pick up three kills and fought their way to a fifth-place finish, enough to keep their rivals at bay and claim this year’s title.
