Playoffs

Right from the opening matches, Teamfight Tactics at EWC 26 ignited some fierce rivalries. None was bigger than the ongoing saga between defending champions Weibo Gaming and Korean powerhouse T1. In a fitting twist, both teams saw their title hopes ended early by the tournament's eventual finalists. As the old guard fell, a new generation seized the spotlight, making a powerful statement and reshaping the competitive TFT landscape at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS at EWC 26

Group Stage

Thailand’s regional heroes, Made in Thailand, entered the tournament with a revamped roster for the 2026 season. The roster transformation elevated them from regional contenders to international heavyweight, with the team arriving in Paris after securing two tier-one international titles. While they cruised through the Group Stage, finishing with 119 points, their run ultimately fell short of a podium finish as they ended the tournament in 9th place.
The biggest shockwave of the Group Stage, however, was the collective fall of several top East Asian contenders. Four Angry Men, Petrichor Road, TYLOO, and SOOPers all failed to qualify for the top 16, highlighting both their struggles and the elite level of competition at EWC 26.

FC Pro World Championship at EWC 26

Playoffs

The downfall of arguably the biggest tournament favorite in the FC Pro World Championship at EWC 26 opened the door for new legends to rise. Anders “Vejrgang” Vejrgang, the undisputed No. 1 virtual footballer in the world, was eliminated in the quarterfinals after falling 5-11 to EWC debutant Nassim “Nassada” Dahman.
With the favorite out of the picture, a new champion emerged, as Razvan “RvPLegend” Puiu battled through multiple nail-biting playoff matches to complete an incredible run and claim the FC Pro World Championship title.

MSC at EWC 26

Group Stage

The Group Stage of the MSC at EWC 26 delivered two of the tournament’s biggest shocks, as tournament favorites Selangor Red Giants and defending champions Team Liquid PH were both eliminated early. The latter exit was especially surprising, with Team Liquid PH entering as one of the strongest contenders thanks to their international pedigree and recent dominance in MPL Philippines Season 17. However, back-to-back 0-2 defeats against Aurora Gaming and Entity7 in Group B ended their title defense before the Knockout Stage.
