KWC at EWC 25 Champions: All Gamers Complete Comeback

Jul 26, 2025.

AG.AL staged a stunning comeback to win the KWC at EWC 25 4-3 over TTG in a thrilling finale at the 2025 Esports World Cup. Congratulations to the Chinese organization for securing their first first-place finish of this year's competition.

The Honor of Kings World Cup at the 2025 Esports World Cup ended in spectacular fashion as All Gamers Global (AG.AL) emerged victorious in a dramatic 4-3 series against Talent Gaming Global (TTG). In a back-and-forth series, AG.AL completed a stunning comeback under Ultimate Battle rules to raise the championship trophy.

Despite opening the series with a win, AG.AL found themselves on the ropes after dropping three straight games. TTG looked poised to close it out, holding match point and all the momentum. But AG.AL clawed back with a fierce response that reminded everyone why they were among the tournament favorites.

TTG takes an early lead

The first game offered a taste of the chaos to come. AG.AL built a substantial gold lead through superior farming and rotations, although TTG controlled objectives like the Tyrant and Overlord. AG.AL capitalized on their lead to secure victory in the opener.

The second game initially mirrored the first. Chen “Zoe” Jiahao put on a clinic in the jungle, dominating as Jing. But TTG’s objective control, securing multiple Shadow Overlords and Shadow Tyrants, spelled doom for their opponents.

Riding that momentum, TTG outmaneuvered AG.AL across the next two games, showcasing strong map control and dictating the pace. After three wins in a row, they held a 3-1 lead and put themselves on match point.

AG.AL mounts a comeback

Facing elimination, AG.AL regrouped and changed the tempo. Shifting to more macro-focused play, they pulled TTG across the map and forced them into uncomfortable situations. The adaptation worked, as AG.AL began to swing momentum back in their favor. The sixth and seventh games were a showcase of composure, as AG.AL evened things up at 3-3, setting the stage for the final game.

In the winner-take-all final game, both teams entered Global Ban & Pick, leading to mirror matches for heroes like Fatih, Augran, Wang Zhaojun, and Liang. AG.AL proved mechanically superior and built a dominant gold lead, closing out Game Seven in convincing fashion to win the championship.

SONY MVP

Chen “Zoe” Jiahao was named Sony Finals MVP for his game-changing jungle play and received a $10,000 bonus. The team also secured $750,000 in prize money, along with a pivotal 1,000 points in the EWC 2025 Club Championship standings. The result rockets AG.AL into second place overall and means they’re now eligible to win the overall Club Championship.

TTG did not leave empty-handed, taking home $460,000. Bottom laner Yue “Snowy” Caiying also earned a $500 bonus for scoring the tournament’s only Penta Kill. Each teammate also received an additional $100 for Snowy's incredible play.

Solo King and third-place results

Earlier in the day, OG’s Daniele “keke” Ke claimed the Solo King title, defeating Giovanni “Shanks” Song in the 1v1 bracket to earn $1,000 and the honor of being the best solo player in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Nova Esports swept Twisted Minds 3-0 in the third-place match, marking a disappointing end for Twisted Minds in a tournament where they fell short of expectations.

As the dust settles in Riyadh, AG.AL emerge not only as KWC champions but also as formidable contenders for the Club Championship and the premier representatives of China at the Esports World Cup.
