KPL Dream Team has won the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup. Of the 12 Honor of Kings teams competing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this week, KPL Dream Team was considered the favorite to win HoK Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup — and they met those expectations dominantly with a 3-0 clean sweep of LGD Gaming in the grand finals.
KPL Dream Team entered HoK Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup as the sole representative of China. True to its name, KPL Dream Team was put together as an All-Star squad of Kings Pro League talent to compete in the Invitational series this year.

The star-studded squad took 1st place in Group B with a 5-0 record against Weibo Gaming MY, All Gamers Global, Loops, BOOM Esports, and Team Falcons. KPL then went through Playoffs undefeated with a 2-0 quarterfinals victory over Impunity, a 3-0 semifinals victory over All Gamers Global, and finally, a grand finals sweep of LGD Gaming.
Throughout its HoK Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup run, KPL Dream Team went 13-0 and defeated their opponents with an average win time of 11 minutes and 9 seconds. But it was Xu "YiNuo" Bicheng who was named HoK Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup MVP for his immaculate performance throughout KPL Dream Team’s perfect performance.
KPL Dream Team’s 1st place finish at HoK Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup has netted the organization the $1,000,000 lion’s share of the $3,000,000 prize pool.
In addition, KPL Dream Team earned 1,000 EWC Club Points, which puts them in a six-way 5th place tie with T1, Selangor Red Giants, Smart Omega Esports, Crazy Raccoon, and Alpha 7 Esports.
