Fans can also look forward to the Esports World Cup Opening Ceremony, taking place on July 8 at La Seine Musicale in Paris, as competition continues across multiple venues in Paris. By the end of the week, champions will be crowned in VALORANT, Apex Legends, and FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, while Dota 2 continues into Week 2.
VALORANT at the Esports World Cup 2026 is already underway, with the 16 qualified teams battling through the group stage after play began on July 2. As Week 1 begins, every match carries added weight as teams fight to secure a place in the playoffs. The tournament culminates on July 12, with the third-place match followed by the grand final beginning at 12PM CEST.
Forty of the world's best Apex Legends squads will descend on the Qiddiya City Grid as ALGS at EWC 26 gets underway on July 7 at 12PM CEST. Teams will battle through the group stage before the Survival Stage determines the final contenders for championship Saturday. The tournament concludes with the Match Point Grand Final on July 12, where one team will claim the title and the largest share of the $2 million prize pool.
