Esports World Cup 2026 Confirms the Return of 20 Games

The world’s largest esports event will feature a total of 24 games next summer, with four more titles still to be announced.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (October 8, 2025) — The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) today announced the return of 20 games for the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC 2026), the world’s largest esports and gaming event, taking place July 6 through August 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. EWC 2026 will feature 24 titles in total, with four more games to be announced in the coming weeks.
The EWC 2026 lineup encompasses fan-favourite shooters, battle royales, MOBAs, fighting games, strategy and chess, reflecting EWCF’s mission to unite the world’s most popular games on the world’s biggest stage.
The games announced today include, in alphabetical order: Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty: Warzone, Chess, Counter-Strike 2, Crossfire, Dota 2, EA Sports FC 26, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Free Fire, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Overwatch 2, PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG Mobile, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics, and VALORANT.
Their inclusion is a result of multi-year partnerships between the EWCF and industry-leading publishers including Activision Blizzard, Capcom, Chess.com, Electronic Arts, Garena, Krafton, Moonton, Riot Games, SNK, Smilegate, Tencent, Ubisoft, and Valve. These iconic titles have been central to establishing the Esports World Cup as a premier global event attracting millions of fans across every genre.
The Esports World Cup 2026 will once again unite gaming and esports communities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a global competition that will crown the next Esports World Cup Champion. The tournament’s unique cross-game format will reward Clubs and players competing for a life-changing prize pool across a mix of platforms and genres, bringing together esports’ best teams, players and games under one banner in the largest-ever celebration of esports.
The EWC’s third season builds on the record-breaking EWC 2025, which featured 2,000 players and 200 Clubs from 100 countries competing in 25 tournaments across 24 games for a total prize pool of more than $70 million. The competition was broadcast in 140 countries, drew 750 million online viewers who watched 350 million hours of programming, and welcomed 3 million visitors last summer.
