Week 5 of the 2025 Esports World Cup featured incredible performances across Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X, Call of Duty: Warzone, and EA SPORTS FC. Team Secret claimed the Rainbow Six Siege X title, while Twisted Minds earned their first 2025 Esports World Cup victory thanks to clutch plays and teamwork.
Team Liquid saw one player climb from play-ins to the championship stage. As Week 6 kicks off, here’s a look at the updated Club Championship standings.

Club of the Week Award
After conquering the 2025 Esports World Cup fields of chess, ML:BB, and EA SPORTS FC, Team Liquid became the first club to win three separate competitions across the entire event in Riyadh. Adrian Tryka proved to be the pillar that kept Team Secret thriving throughout R6 Siege X at EWC 25. The support player had the best K/D, the most plants, and the highest rating on his team when the dust settled in Riyadh. Adrian is your player of the week.

Team Secret claims victory without dropping a single playoff map
In a tournament of titans, Team Secret shocked the world in R6 Siege X at EWC 25 with a flawless 3-0 sweep of G2 Esports in the finals. They carried strong momentum into the match, remaining unbeaten throughout the group stage and playoffs. In fact, during the group stage, Team Secret knocked defending champions Team Falcons into the lower bracket. Nothing is given, and everything is earned in Rainbow Six Siege X at EWC 25, and Team Secret secured not only the lion’s share of $2,000,000 but also 1,000 Club Points.
“I can’t believe it,” Noah “NoaUrz” Urwitz said in the post-match interview after collapsing on stage from the emotional win. “I just want to say G2 played a great game. It was a great game against us. They really tested us to the limit. I’m so happy with these guys. I can’t believe what we just did. We just did it from nothing to here.”

Twisted Minds triumph in clutch finale
Entering the event as the fourth seed from North America, Twisted Minds claimed the COD WZ at EWC 25 title. After advancing through the group stage, they dominated the finals with multiple top-four finishes. Their teamwork and resilience shone brightest in the last game, securing their first major LAN victory.
“All I know is that this is the most clutch team I’ve ever played with. I mean, it’s always the last game, man, and that’s been our mojo for the past three months, every single tournament,” Riley “zSmit” Smith said, adding that Aydan “Aydan” Conrad, Benjamin “Almond” Rosendahl, and himself always manage to pull through. “You start playing five years ago to win on the big stage, that’s what you wanna do.”
In addition to pocketing $250,000 and winning 1,000 Club Points for Twisted Minds, zSmit earned an extra $10,000 as the Sony MVP.

ManuBachoore goes from play-ins to world champion
It was a journey from the play-ins to the very top as Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore turned his dream into reality. In the finals of the FC Pro World Championship at 2025 Esports World Cup, he faced Team Vitality’s Brice “Brice” Masson, standing out for his calm demeanor under pressure. ManuBachoore sealed a 5-3 victory without a flinch.
In the post-match interview, ManuBachoore gave a shoutout to Team Liquid, his family, and his friends. “It’s more than I asked for in my career,” he said. “Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible to win two times, but yeah, here we are. So I can’t believe it. It feels like a dream. It is my dream. I’m happy it’s reality.”
For his incredible victory, ManuBachoore took home $250,000 and earned 1,000 Club Points for Team Liquid. This placed Team Liquid first in the Club Championship standings.
