Tune in to find out what happens next time when the best teams from every region face off on the largest stage in the world.
LAST TIME ON: Esports World Cup: Counter-Strike 2
Last year’s inaugural Esports World Cup took the Counter-Strike world by storm, with NaVi battling their way past FaZe Clan, MOUZ, and finally G2 Esports to etch their names in EWC history and walk away with the stunning $400,000 cash prize. And while his team may have fallen short, NiKo from G2 picked up the MVP title along with a $50,000 prize for his cracked performance in the finals and throughout the rest of the tournament.
EWC CS2 has already established itself as one of the premiere S-Tier events for CS fans from around the world to look forward to. In 2025 we will once again be inviting the top teams in the world to compete, offering them a chance to show who’s boss on the EWC stage and compete for another massive prize pool!
The EWC 2025 CS2 Dates and Tournament Format
The EWC CS2 2025 tournament will take place from August 20-24.
The tournament will feature 16 of the world’s most lethal Counter-Strike squads. Fifteen invites will be determined by the June 2025 Valve Regional Standings. Meanwhile, the final slot will be awarded to the winner of the Asian Champions League.
All 16 teams will be seeded into a single-elimination bracket, with absolutely NO second chances! This year, every match is win or go home, so these teams better lock in! This is an intense battleground where every match matters and teams are looking to unleash their max power.
