Tournament Format
While two Chinese teams were directly invited to the Playoffs, other teams will be fighting through the Group Stage to have their chance to face these veteran teams. During this stage, four groups of four will fight for a place in the Playoffs in a double-elimination bracket.
Stage 2 will include teams that failed to qualify in the Group Stage, a Lance Chance single-elimination bracket with four teams.
And lastly, Stage 3 will be the Playoffs. Here, eight teams will compete through a high-stakes single elimination bracket to find out if other regions have what it takes to take on China’s best Honor of Kings teams.

About
The Characters: Honor of Kings is a 5v5 mobile MOBA title featuring 122 heroes across the Tank, Fighter, Assassin, Mage, Marksman, and Support class. The different heroes are based on figures from Chinese mythos with their own unique abilities and playstyles — all with the same goal of taking down the enemy base no matter the cost.
The Plot: The ultimate goal of the Honor of Kings is to control the lanes, build your economy, and upgrade your character. The win condition is to
defeat the enemy towers in the lane, reach the enemy base and destroy it. To accomplish that, players will need to effectively manage enemy mobs, kill enemy players, and win jungle fights to gain the upper hand.
Why: Honor of Kings is one of the biggest mobile esports in the world, with its peak viewership reaching nearly 500K in 2024. With $3 million on the line, this massive tournament is a celebration of the growing competitive scene and its loyal fans.
