Rennsport is racing its way back to EWC 2025

Rennsport is returning to Riyadh for a third year in a row, joining the EWC 2025 its premiere racing esport event. Last year’s event saw Team Redline take the Team Championship and Team Redline member Kevin Siggy take home the Driver’s Championship. Now, a fresh battery of teams will look to conquer the R1 grid and unseat the reigning champs on Team Redline!

Racing for individual glory and team prestige, the drivers in Rennsport are looking to dominate the track and bring home the W at the Esports World Cup! We can already smell the tires burning.
LAST TIME ON: Rennsport at 2025 Esports World Cup
In 2024, Team Redline absolutely dominated the track. During the group stage, Redline finished 50 points ahead of their closest competition Team Vitality. Then in the Grand Finals, they took their racing supremacy to a whole new level by defeating 2nd-place Team Vitality by a staggering 300 points.
As you might have guessed, their drivers were also dominant in terms of the individual competition. Kevin Siggy seized the top spot driving aBMW M4 GT3, while his teammates Sebastion Job and Luke Bennet cleaned up the 2nd and 4th positions. In total, the drivers claimed $53,000 USD individually, and Team Redline walked away with $140,000 for the team!
Rennsport at 2025 Esports World Cup Dates and Tournament Format
EWC ESL R1 2025 will take place July 8-11th, and is set to feature nine teams in total.
The first stage of competition will feature six teams in a Last Chance play-in format, the top three of which will advance to the Group Stage to face the three top seeds from the Rennsport R1 2025 – Spring Season qualification. The Group Stage will be followed by a Playoffs stage where teams will fight to survive and make it to the Finals. The Finals will determine the winner based on final point tallies.

The prize pool for this event will be a total of $500,000 dollars.
