Team BDS has dominated R6 competitions in Riyadh for years! In the past three years, this team has won two Gamers8 titles and the inaugural Rainbow Six at 2024 Esports World Cup title, flexing unprecedented dominance in the Rainbow Six Siege pro scene. During EWC 2024, Team BDS won the semi-finals and finals with back-to-back sweeps over Team Furia and w7m esports.
So, the question heading into EWC 2025 is, who has what it takes to bring down this growing dynasty? Either Team BDS will continue its streak, or it will come crashing down—either way, it’ll be history!
Rainbow Six at 2025 Esports World Cup Dates and Format
Watch Rainbow Six at the 2025 Esports World Cup from August 5th-9th.
Sixteen teams in total will compete on the EWC stage, all playing on PC. The competition itself is split into two stages: Groups and Finals.
In the Stage 1 Group Stage, two groups of eight teams will compete internally to decide the top four from each group.The top four from each group will compete in Stage 2, the Finals, where they will have to survive a single elimination playoff bracket with the championship title on the line!
Rainbow Six at 2025 Esports World Cup Prize Pool
Rainbow Six teams will compete for a $2 million prize pool. With cash and glory to fight for, you know that teams will be bringing their A-game and setting their sights directly on last year’s victors, Team BDS.
