EVOS Esports are the Free Fire at 2025 Esports World Cup champions, with 15-year-old wonder kid Rasyah securing the tournament MVP award.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (July 20, 2025) EVOS Esports are the Free Fire at 2025 Esports World Cup champions after securing the win in a tense final game that almost saw them heartbreakingly finish in second place for the second year in a row.

EVOS Esports were the first side to trigger match point in game five, but it was a nervous wait for them to claim the victory. EVOS struggled throughout the next few maps to pull off the final Booyah victory they needed to win the tournament, the closest they came was in game eight, where they ended in the final three.

By the time the 10th and final game of the day rolled around, it was effectively sudden death. Either the side with the most points after the match would win, or one of the nine sides on match point would claim a Booyah and secure the trophy.

EVOS Esports had a disaster start to the final game, but managed to turn it around in style. Having had championship point for five games in a row, they almost went out first in the final game of the tournament with just one player left standing. However, some quick thinking and revives saw the team get back to full strength, and they would go onto a tense final battle.

Team Vitality and EVOS Esports were the final two teams in game 10, and both were on championship point, essentially making it a winner take all fight. With an aggressive play, EVOS managed to get the upper hand and took the win in dramatic fashion.

EVOS Esports will pick up the $300,000 first place prize from the total $1,000,000 prize pool for their top placement in the Free Fire at 2025 Esports World Cup tournament. The victory also means EVOS Esports complete their goal of fighting back from their loss in EWC 2024, where they finished in second place.

“I am proud of all of you guys,” said Aji "AimGOD" Apri Wicaksono to his team after the win. “Thank you all of you, thank you to our manager. We are so happy, we don’t expect it at all.”

EVOS Esports’ wonder kid Rasyah "Rasyah" Rasyid was named tournament MVP following his clutch plays throughout the competition. The honour nets the 15-year-old an additional $10,000 and the MVP medal to recognise their achievements.

“I can’t believe this day,” said Rasyah "Rasyah" Rasyid. “As the youngest player in the EWC, I tried my best to be champion and I got it. I am the true wonder kid.”

EVOS Esports claims 1000 Club Championship points for their victory in Free Fire, which are the first Club Championship points the Club has earned at the 2025 Esports World Cup.
