About

The Characters: VALORANT features a roster of iconic agents across four roles: Duelist, Initiator, Sentinel, and Controller. Duelists have abilities to help them enter the site, initiators have flashes and intel abilities, Sentinels have defensive abilities to lock down areas of the map, and Controllers have smokes and walls to transform the map in their team's favor.

The Plot: VALORANT is a 5v5 round-based tactical shooter about planting and defusing the spike, a device designed by the VALORANT protocol on Omega Earth to steal radianite from Alpha Earth. Every match, you’ll take turns attacking and defending the sites, either trying to plant

and detonate the spike on a site or stop it from being planted and going off. The matches pace revolves around an in-game economy that determines what tools you have in any given round. Every round, you’ll earn credits to spend on weapons, armor, and abilities. Managing your team's bank is a key part of success if you want to earn yourself the victory.

Why: VALORANT has quickly become one of the biggest esports titles in the industry. There are plenty of top players, rivalries, and storylines to keep fans passionate, while the high-skill action leaves viewers on the edge of their seats headshot after headshot.
